Incremental Fortress is a game developed by Louigi Verona and then played by who knows how many people.

First public release was of version 0.3 on February 13, 2023, followed by version 0.4 and later a major release of version 0.5 on August 17, 2023. The game received mixed to negative reactions from players who disliked the messenger mechanic, which forced players to constantly check the game, as well as the reliance of many upgrades on real time.

After several major revisions, including reworking messengers and untying upgrades from real time, version 1.0 was released on February 7, 2025 to generally positive reviews.
