**Jar and Donkey** is a pub in Alaska. It was first featured in a short story [[how_people_become_gold_miners|How People Become Gold Miners]], and later appeared to be the location for monthly meetings of the [[prince_ruifa|Trousers Suppliers Guild]].

The pub is known for its miraculous ability to fit crowds of people in what seems to be very cramped space, and boasts no written menu and the ability to take oral requests, even if it means expending substantial resources in order to fulfill guests' wishes.

===== The Jar Puzzle =====

The Jar Puzzle is a question that is written on the menu of the pub. It asks: "What is inside the jar? Guess correctly and win a million dollars!"

To this day no one has won the prize. [[Scholars]] point out that Jar and Donkey has no menu and, thus, //there is no fork//.
