Louigi Verona is a self-identified “accomplished amateur”, who works in fields like music, literature, critical analysis, magic and game design. He is a celebrity among his friends, although Slow Club argues that this actually makes him a non-celebrity, if the definition of “celebrity” is to be taken with any degree of seriousness.

He is most known for his project "droning", an ambitious musical endeavor that has so far resulted in slightly under 300 ambient tunes.

His other accomplishments include the founding of a science communication organization, the detailed analysis of the free software philosophy, which is so long probably nobody has read it, a number of games that nobody plays, and a number of literary experiments that so far did not go beyond a short story format.
