====== Teamatian chiefdoms ======

**Teamatian chiefdoms** is a term that was used as a reference to the mostly nomadic inhabitants of northern [[Teamatian]], although quite a number of notable Teamatian tribes were settled.

These tribes have raided its northern neighbors throughout the second revolution, wreaking havoc and being a serious threat for centuries. Venturing as far as [[Homestead]], both the chiefdoms and forces sent against them freuently used the [[Blaca]] route through [[Megeg Daurate]], until it was closed for entrance to [[Teamatian]], which made the Daurate itself a target of raids.

Another common entry point into Homestead was between [[Nator]] and [[Lolinepali]].

At the end of 17th and beginning of 18th CSR, the [[ginsag_state|ginsags]] were successful in decisively defeating several major tribes, resulting in the chiefdoms limiting their raids towards [[Ozder]] and [[Orona]], which seriously weakened Orona and almost led to the dissolution of the country. A treaty between Megeg Daurate to close the Blaca route was one of the factors that changed the dynamic.

Relations between chiefdoms and the two Daurates were generally neutral, but became more hostile by the end of the second revolution, as the Daurates' culture and way of life began to slowly shift away from Teamatian culture.
