Teamatian chiefdoms is a label that was used for settlements, tribes and peoples living on the plains around the Bahria volcano. A more narrow definition would see a settlement defined as Teamatian if its inhabitants could see the volcano with their naked eye.

Teamatian is also the name of the geographical area itself.
