**The Impossible Shop** is the online store of [[The Cave]] website, which features rare items, upscale real estate and exquisite jewelry for ridiculously cheap prices.

The shop is referred to as "impossible" because of the way the purchasing process works. The user must select an item, pay for it and then wait for a confirmation link. The confirmation link is said to be necessary so that the person has time to consider whether they actually want to make the purchase. Therefore, it is promised to arrive the next day. If the buyer fails to click the link within 24 hours, the purchase is canceled and nothing is charged.

Since The Cave goes online for a maximum period of one hour, three times a year, and never within one week - nobody can ever complete a purchase.
