correts

correts is a special type of punctuation which involves combining already existing punctuation to form new meanings. It is thought of as an art form. The term “correts” is always spelled with lowercase letters, even when in the beginning of a sentence.

Examples:

  • .&. - a combination of two dots and an ampersand signifies that while a statement sounds like a silly joke, it is also true; it works only in the exact order of dot-ampersand-dot, and any other combinations mean “I tried to show off my correts, but instead showed off my utter ignorance and stupidity”
  • .! - this means being really firm about something, but also quite excited, while not being in a position to openly demonstrate said excitement due to stature
