Lafit is a non-elected public official with the power to run a non-sovereign level of government, typically a city or a region of a state. Appointed by the head of state, it is usually the second-powerful rank in a country.

All country lafits form the Stalwarts Session, a cabinet which revises the major laws and strategy of the land on an annual basis.

Lafits originated in Darda, and have been a rank in many of the northern countries, such as Afanyu, Loodon Empire and Xornerian.
