Q Tower

Q Tower is a 2D platformer that features a Competitive and Fidget game modes.

Goal

The goal of the game in any mode is to reach the bottom of the tower by jumping from platform to platform. The game offers different tower heights, from very short to infinite.

Game modes

Competitive

A turret
A stomped enemy and a deactivated turret

Competitive mode involves collecting items and killing enemies, which include three types of walking troopers, troopers flying in aircraft and automatic turrets.

The player can kill enemies by either jumping on them or shooting them. Gray troopers require 3 shots to kill, all the rest of the enemies - just a single shot. Turrets can also be operated by the player by jumping on top of them. This makes their screen turn from red to blue and allows the player to control the turret and kill enemies on the same platform. By pressing DOWN while standing on the turret, the player can deactivate the turret. By jumping on the turret and holding DOWN, the player can stomp the turret.

There are three lives and when the player is killed, a respawn shadow appears from which a player can restart.

There are also items which provide score.

Philantropic Ninja

When the player reaches the bottom of the tower, they are awarded a title, which depends on how well they did, specifically: how many items they have collected and how many enemies they have killed. But this goes slightly beyond the obvious: the most challenging title to get is that of Philantropic Ninja, which means that you have reached the bottom of the tower, while having collected no items and killed no enemies. The longer the tower, the more challenging the task.

Fidget

In fidget mode all the player has to do is to collect items.
