Yontel is an infinite game designed by Louigi Verona, the goal of which is to grow an xubus field without creating gaps. Each new piece should touch already existing pieces. In the first version of the rules the winning scenario that would stop the game was to build a rectangle, however this is impossible to achieve due to the shape of the xubus.
The game has a meditative quality to it and is generally not difficult to play. Difficulty can be increased by limiting the play field and requiring the player to use up a defined number of xubusei, which would make it similar to a polyomino tiling puzzle.
Yontel can be played on paper or with physical pieces.
