Whatever is the honorary title of the Obscurity Portal. When granted, it gives its owner the right to present it as a middle name (or the last of the middle names if a person has several middle names already). For instance, John Whatever Smith.

One becomes eligible for the title after completing one of the following actions:

• Discovering a rule that defines whether a topic discussed on the Obscurity Portal is a “normal thing” or a “strange thing”
• Inventing an original game, which barely anyone is playing

Being eligible for the title does not guarantee getting the title, and the title is always granted by the Title Granting Committee.
