Perfectionist

Choose your interface:

If you want to play using your mobile phone

This is the desktop interface.

It is slightly differently organized and is a great choice for making analysis videos.

Previous interfaces (for geeks and history books):
Perfectionist Classic

Built with a framework called Phaser and intended to be played on mobile phones, this version uses canvas. This limits each screen to a fixed size, so I had to be very economical with the interface. It also uses image tiles for blocks and buttons, making the game difficult to load on slower connections.

Still, it was the primary version of the game for 6 years.

Perfectionist (DOM)

The very first public version, probably released in 2017. It is called a "DOM" version because it was done with Javascript and HTML, as opposed to Perfectionist Classic, which uses canvas.

Perfectionist: Levels

This was my attempt to make a commercial game with levels. I spent several months working on this and even released it on Facebook Games, which at the time were all the rage. But the end result was ultimately disappointing. I felt that playing the levels was tedious. The game had an option of filling up the board with random blocks, and I again felt that this was the most fun way to play.

The Perfectionist (prototype)

This is where it started. It plays the same but the levels are random, there is no server with the best score and you're supposed to drag one block onto another.
