These are games and puzzles that I invented.
Please note that my interest is mainly in creating new types of games. Therefore, most of these offer novel gameplay. Feedback is greatly appreciated!
A separate list is dedicated to incremental games. As a game developer who has no resources to hire an artist for graphics, I try to focus on games that I can pull off with my limited means. Incremental games can work even if they are pure text, so I spent several years focusing on them.
Finally, there's a third section which lists games that are either proof-of-concepts or are at the very early stage of development.
Perfectionist is an original puzzle which I invented in 2016. The goal of the game is to remove all blocks. It is generally impossible to solve a board without losing points. The real goal of the game is to lose as few points as possible.
The puzzle is incredibly immersive and has a sense of mathematical beauty to it. I consider this to be one of my most successful inventions to date.
Perfectionist boasts a small, but robust community of daily players.
Tile Quest is a tile puzzle game, based on an old principle seen in classic games such as Alchemy. The game features an original soundtrack
Riskline is a game of skill and luck. The goal of the game is to get as much money as possible. Money is rewarded by moving forward along the RiskLine. Each step doubles the reward. However, there is a catch - one of the steps is mined, and stepping on it results in death.
Riskline started as a game-designing exercise to create a perfectly balanced game. It is impossible to come up with a single winning strategy, instead requiring the player to constantly reassess their options.
The screenshot looks weird, doesn't it? But try it out. Believe me, it's much more interesting than it looks. Many folks come back to the game again and again.
The Marbon Puzzle requires you to clear out all the blocks, only it doesn't tell you how
SAMPTIC is a game of chance with elements of skill. Players take turns to shoot at their opponent with a gun that deals random damage. A pretty cool and weird concept!
Phantom 100 is a representative of a unique game genre which I've devised around 2017 called
phantom games. This was just the first attempt, a proof of concept, but I am relatively happy with it.
The game looks incredibly complex, but is governed by a very simple rule. The point of the game is to figure out what the rule is. However, there are two more levels to the game: once you know what the basic rules are, you should figure out how to get bonuses, and, finally, once you figure that out, the game gets transformed into a game of skill.
To learn more about phantom games, venture here.
Dust Quest is a game where the player's task is to clean dust off of walls. Walls will have objects which fall off when freed from dust. The game has 10 levels and can be very relaxing.
Wrenchman is a desktop wrench-throwing game. The premise of the game is that you have 10 wrenches which you throw at enemies. However, your ammo is never replenished, so you will have to pick the wrenches back up which becomes more difficult as you progress. Loads of fun enemies. Has the vibe of handheld electronic games of the previous century
Wrenchman mascot is a bear holding two wrenches
Mouse Quest is a game of skill. Your goal is to move the cursor through the maze without touching any of the walls and avoiding all the enemies. In order to beat the game you must collect 8 green round keys which are then used to open the lock at the end.
To start playing, hover the cursor over the checkpoint. As soon as your arrow changes into a circle, you can start playing. You have ten attempts and then the game starts over.
This is very playable and very beatable. I love the concept and might do more of this kind of thing in the future!
Q Tower is a platform game. The goal of the game is to reach the bottom of the Q Tower, while collecting items and killing enemies.
Depending on how well you do, once you reach the bottom, you will be given a status. The most difficult status to reach in Competitive mode is PHILANTHROPIC NINJA, which means collecting no items and killing no enemies.
The game also has a Fidget mode which removes enemies and focuses only on collecting items.

Perimeter is a hardcore game of skill. Your goal is to not let the enemies cross the screen. It is a total mayhem of bullets and explosions. Your ship has three types of guns and in order to win the game you need to master all of them.
You control the machine gun that kills only aerial enemies with C, a gun that shoots only ground units with Z and X, and a gun that kills all types of units with A and S. Since the latter two guns are not automatic, the two buttons are assigned in order to allow the player to press the two buttons in succession to create a more dense fire.
The Prisoner is a fidget game. The goal of the game is to serve your prison sentence in the dungeon of Prince Abubu. Each passing second increases your score, and once you reach the goal, you win. However, you can make it happen faster if you collect treasure. You also need to eat. If your health goes down to 0, you die. Therefore, the game forces you to pay at least a little bit of attention.
Dangerous Mining is a zero-player game. The player has no control over the outcome of the game and is the initiator: you only need to press the spacebar. This launches a pellet which tries to reach the top. Nevertheless, the game is fun and even addictive. This is one of my first zero-player concepts
The Gunslinger is a game of skill. The goal of the game is to travel accross the Solar System, starting with Mercury and concluding with Neptune. In order to advance, the player has to shoot targets. Ammo is limited, but each time a target is shot, you are rewarded additional ammo. The game displays your performance statistics in real-time, allowing newbies to track their progress and real gunslingers to boast about their 100% accuracy.
The game has some nice concepts, for instance, the distances between in-game planets are proportional to distances between planets in the Solar System. Additionally, great emphasis is placed on real-time statistics, to make the game more interesting to the player. Every check-point the game will demonstrate how well the player is doing compared to the previous check-point.
Yeah, and the game is really hard. Caution is advised!
The Adventures of Merlock Bolmes is a fidget platformer. I once had a project called "Obscurity Portal" which was like a wiki. And there was an article dedicated to this game because it's silly. I can't promise you'll like it but it's possible!
15 Orbs of Voltor is a maze game for Windows and Linux. Featuring merciless gameplay, the game is tailored towards those who love a serious challenge. Beautiful project in terms of design (I think), and a whole soundtrack written specifically for the game.
15 Orbs of Voltor might be the only game in the world that focuses specifically on a 2D maze experience. The goal of the game is to collect 15 Orbs. The game features a minimap, teleporters, landmarks within a maze to help you navigate and a robot in a maze that you have to catch.
I beat the game twice! It's conceivable that I will remain the only person to ever beat the game. Is it a thinly veiled challenge to you? You bet!
Maze: The Elephant Challenge is a maze game. The goal of the game is to visit every place in the game, including a number of secret locations. The central piece of the game is a huge maze called Elephant which has to be solved in order to "beat the game". My first maze game, 15 Orbs of Voltor came after that.
R Maze is a game styled as an old-school DOS game where the player has to go through a maze, while collecting various (rather strange and probably completly useless) items. The game was never completed, and creating levels was technologically difficult. Just like any other 2D maze game, this game suffers from bad controls - not because of any technical gitches, but because it is extremely difficult to implement controls for a 2D maze game that would be intuitive and easy to use. Still, I would like to make a game similar to this in the future, so regard this specimen as proof of concept.

Text Game is... well, a text game! Simple, but charming. Or so I was told!

Incremental Fortress is a deep and expansive incremental game and my biggest one to date. It also totally flopped on release! Do with that information what you will 😇
Machinery is a sci-fi incremental game. The interface is geeky and lovely, and I totally recommend it in work settings, especially for tech people cause it looks like it's a data panel. One of my more successful games
Demigod is a series of incremental games. They have a unique minimal aesthetic to them and I found that people either totally love them or don't get them at all. Which one will you be? There's only one way to find out!
Bliss is a classic incremental game
Stupid Ass Incremental is a classic incremental game. Actually, a new version is complete but I want to do more testing first.
Primordial Incremental is a Samantha-type incremental game (see "About" within the game)
Divine Dimensions is a Samantha-type incremental game
Why Did You Invade Mars? is a tongue-in-cheek incremental game where you're invading Mars, again and again
Galactum's World is a humorous incremental game that is based on the community and memes of my Discord server
Verteron Controller Factory is a representative of the incremental games genre but it's unique in that
it is not endless and has to be completed within 30 minutes. You need to figure out the best strategy to become the Ruler of the Universe as fast as possible!
The Void is a crossover between a game and a strange art installation. Your goal is to advance in rank by... waiting. But there is a catch: the upgrade button has to be armed several seconds before the upgrade is ready, otherwise the promotion won't happen, and the cycle restarts. This forces the player to attend to the game regularly. The game is beatable, and can be finished in just under 8 hours, in homage to Pen and Teller's "Desert Bus".
Become Pope is a small incremental game with the goal of rising through the church ranks. The game could've tackled some controversial issues but this was done for my colleagues at work, so I wanted to keep it chill. I have been contemplating a remake!
a billion bananas is a short incremental game. It is also one of my more successful games. It's funny and has some interesting mechanics!
Ghost Ghostwriters Corp is a management game where you run a publishing house
Cardinal's Dice is a story of a cleric who set out to defeat evil by moving up the ranks of Hell in order to become the Devil's most trusted advisor, all with the noble goal of murdering him.
But as the journey progresses, the well-meaning cardinal has failed to notice that his righteous fervor, gambling, murders and black magic have been tools that the Devil used to forge one of his most ruthless minions to ever walk the face of Earth...
Now, roll the dice!
This is an experimental game on top of a gambling mechanic I invented previously. I wanted to see if you can build something larger on top of that.
Wizard Battle is a slot-machine style card game. It is an original game, initially designed in 2014. I developed it further into a mini-game that's featured in
Incremental Fortress
Macrocosm is an unfinished incremental game. I don't plan on completing it, but while most of my games are written using jQuery, this little experiment is done in vanilla Javascript.
Software is an unfinished incremental/management game where you need to write and sell software. This was one of my first attempts at an incremental game.
